The Strategic Project Management Methodologies micro-credential is a short non-credit online course where earners become acquainted with PMI’s PMBOK (PM Body of Knowledge) Guide. Earners learn how causes of unsuccessful project execution (due to both “technical” and “management” issues) have led to advancements in PM T&Ts (Tools & Techniques) over time, as well as their usage.
 

Assessments

KNOWLEDGE: Earners will be assessed via several multiple-choice exams and one comprehensive exam. Exams are graded immediately and multiple attempts are allowed.

The Strategic Project Management Methodologies Micro-Credential is composed of the following 4 learning modules: Module 1 - General Project Management Tools and Techniques, Module 2 - Project Management Tools and Techniques Options, Module 3 - Project Management Best Practices, and Module 4 - Project Postmortems. Within each module is an interactive lesson, instructional resources, e.g., PDF articles, webpages, or videos, and a multiple-choice exam.
 

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites.
 

Earning Criteria

• Work through the following four asynchronous lessons: General PM Tools & Techniques, PM Tools & Techniques Options, PM Bests Practices, Project Postmortems.
• Pass multiple, short "knowledge check" quizzes (multiple retries are allowed).
• Pass a final exam, which is largely a compilation of 26 quiz questions taken from the four lessons, with a score of 80% or higher.
